There is a wide range of silicone fiberglass fabric with a weight from 120 to 1400 g/sq.m. with a width up to 2 m with different types of finish improving their properties. One of the considerable sectors of silicone fiberglass fabric application — production of welding blankets, fire protective blankets, screens and curtains, casing as a thermal barrier for protection of the equipment, high-temperature insulation of furnaces, turbines, screens for protection from molten metal splashes, sparks, thermal insulation. The Silicone Series is the most conformable, flexible, trackable, and wear-resistant product line offered. This series is made from woven fiberglass substrates that have been coated on one or both sides with silicone rubber.

4. Silicone Coating Cloth Features
Silicone rubber-coated fiberglass fabrics are used to protect hydraulic hoses, lines, wires, and cables from heat, flame, molten metal spatter, slag, welding spatter, grinding sparks, pollution, ozone, UV rays, and abrasion. Made of fiberglass base cloth, plus a layer of high-temperature silicone rubber protection. High temperature and heat resistance.

Thermal silicone coated fiberglass fabric is the high temperature, flame retardant silicone rubber that provides improved resistance to abrasion, flexing, tear and puncture. This product is designed specifically for high-temperature (500°F) removable insulation blankets for valves, flanges, and fittings.
